Introducing NVIS AI

NVIS is excited to announce the rebrand to NVIS AI: Next-Gen Stealth Network Access, with the updated url to nvis.ai!

One of the key features of NVIS is its intelligent provisioning agent. This is essentially an AI that allows the admin to accurately configure the connections for multiple, or even thousands, of endpoints--all in one click. This doesn't require the admin to have any networking skill, making it very easy to securely connect resources in seconds!

Adding "AI" to the NVIS name showcases this ability more readily, and simplifies the one-liner by no longer needing to describe the "how" (like AI-driven) in what value NVIS serves.

New One-Liner

As for the company one-liner, NVIS has evolved from either showcasing its invisible capability or as a next-gen VPN.

NVIS's secret sauce is it's ability to make network connections invisible to external threats, therefore eliminating the entire public attack surface. However, this only explains just a part of its value proposition.

The other part is the 'next-gen VPN' aspect, where, conceptually, NVIS's main function is easily understood as a similar use case to a VPN, but is better, faster, and more secure. However, it doesn't do NVIS justice to just limit itself to the VPN space.

Furthermore, NVIS is not even classified as a VPN. Architecturally, NVIS is categorized as a Software Defined Perimeter (SDP), very similar to how the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) has described it.

What makes NVIS different is that all the connections between the endpoints are encrypted end-to-end at Layer 2, versus TLS, mTLS, or SSL. Having the full stack encrypted like this hides the source, destination, and traffic.

After extensive review, NVIS updated its one-liner to "Next-Gen Stealth Network Access". The term "next-gen" is, of course, self-explanatory. The "stealth" aspect coincides to its invisibility against outside threats. And by "network access", NVIS doesn't limit itself to simply being "a better VPN", but also better highlights its abilities as a Zero Trust SDP. NVIS AI is best-in-class over other SDP, SASE, SSE, and ZTNA solutions in the core capability of invisible network access without needing to make complex configurations or change your network.
